In the embedded and cross-platform C and C++ world, declarative dependency management is still relatively new and a big roadblock to fast, reproducible and secure releases. This talk shows why package management is a good thing and how conan.io, an Open Source, platform independent package manager manages dependencies of C and C++ libraries. A demonstration shows how to build a fun GitHub application on many platforms within minutes using conan.io, AppVeyor, Travis CI and Jenkins.
