License Buckets

JFrog Mission Control offers a convenient way to apply licenses to Artifactory instances it manages. This works well when managing several instances of Artifactory, but may become more challenging as enterprises grow and start needing more Artifactory instances. To meet the challenge of licensing for large enterprises, JFrog Mission Control introduces License Bucket management which automates, and therefore, greatly simplifies the management of licenses for many Artifactory instances. Moreover, since every license in a bucket has the same parameters (trial or enterprise and expiration date), it is easy to monitor and keep track of the licensing status of all Artifactory instances being managed.

Once an administrator has received a bucket of licenses, they can easily be installed through the Mission Control UI, allocated to the different Artifactory instances. And since attaching and detaching licenses is done through the JFrog CLI, license management can be fully automated.
