Issue
An Artifactory configuration change (e.g. create new repository) fails with the following error.
[ERROR] (o.a.c.CentralConfigServiceImpl:308) - Failed to reload configuration: unstable environment: Found one or more servers with different version Config Reload denied.

java.lang.RuntimeException: unstable environment: Found one or more servers with different version Config Reload denied.


Reason
This can occur when High Availability (HA) nodes have different versions of Artifactory running. Therefore, to resolve this issue, make sure that all of your nodes are running/upgraded to the same version (which will require a rolling restart).


Resolution
