The following tasks will be impacted when the primary node of an Artifactory high-availability (HA) cluster is in an offline state:

  1. Garbage Collection
  2. Backups 
  3. Imports
  4. Archive indexing (responsible for opening and mapping archived files)
  5. Maven indices (for IDE only) generation
  6. Xray event generation and propagation

As soon as the primary node returns to a running state, it will once again handle these tasks automatically.
