One of the great things about running Kubernetes in the cloud is that there are so many ways to go about it. If you want maximum control and flexibility, choose an approach wherein you set up and manage your Kubernetes environment yourself using cloud-based VMs. For a simpler experience, choose a managed Kubernetes service like EKS, AKS or GKE – but make sure to do your homework and understand the various deployment modes and options associated with each of these services, as well as their differing pricing models.
