You might want to submit a feature request to Artifactory for a missing feature or an improvement you want to see in Artifactory. To accomplish this, we have made our JIRA project accessible to all of our customers. They can use it to communicate their needs through feature and improvement requests, which allows us to gather feedback on the product and continuously improve it for all JFrog Artifactory users.

We consolidate all of these feature requests into a single tool, the JFrog JIRA, so that we can effectively handle all of them. We've outlined the procedure for submitting a feature request on the following page in a few easy steps, as follows:

  1. Go to https://jfrog.atlassian.net/secure/Dashboard.jspa
  2. Log in if you have an existing account or sign up using the following link: https://jfrog.atlassian.net/login.jsp
  3. Click on the “Create” button in the top menu 
  4. In the “Issue Type” field choose “Customer New Request”
  5. Include the following information in the description field in order for us to understand the need for this feature:
  • What problem are you trying to solve? Why? Please describe the use case
  • Feature request a detailed description
  • What is the expected behavior? What you are trying to achieve and why?
  • Priority of this feature for you
  • Possible workaround
6. After submitting the feature request, the JIRA will be created with an ID for future reference, so you can contact the Support team with this JIRA number and we will move it for review

As you may know, our roadmap is tightly scheduled according to community feedback, hence, it is recommended to vote and watch the created JIRAs for future updates.
