Hardware and Sizing

When deploying a self-managed instance of the JFrog Platform, it is important to consider the hardware and sizing requirements to ensure optimal performance and scalability.

NOTE: The JFrog Platform is fully supported on virtual machines; bare metal is not required. Sizing values represent compute cores—treat them as vCPUs on cloud and virtualized environments, or as CPU cores on bare metal. The numeric values are the same in both cases. Cloud instance types in the tables are examples; any instance or on-prem node meeting the vCPU/core and memory values is acceptable.
