The Audit Logs page in MyJFrog Portal provides a comprehensive record of all significant events attempted within the portal. It's designed to offer transparency into user and system activities.
Note
Audit Logs is visible only to Primary Admins and Admins.
Key Features
Following are some of the key features:
Comprehensive Event Tracking: Logs critical events across various categories, including security configurations, user management, billing operations, and more.
Detailed Information: Each log entry includes the event type, description, user who performed the action, and timestamp.
Data Retention: To ensure that historical data is available in MyJFrog for compliance and analysis, logs which are used to service the user are retained for a period of one year from the log entry event (starting from November 17th, 2024), unless your subscription ends before that.
Export and Archive: If retention for more than one year is needed for compliance, export logs for long-term storage using the Export button.
Default Filtering: By default, the Audit Logs page displays logs from the past month with all the events included.
Access Audit Logs
Log in to your MyJFrog Portal account.
In the left navigation pane, click Audit Logs.
This opens the Audit Logs page.
Use the search and filter options to view specific events as needed.
Note
The Audit Logs records the events that were attempted by users or systems. It does not reflect the final status or outcome of those events. For example, if you attempt to add an IP address to the allowlist and the event fails due to a validation error or network issue, the Audit Logs will still display an entry for a Created action. To verify the success or failure of an event, check the relevant system status or logs within the specific feature area.
