The JFrog Platform provides standardized logs for all JFrog products and services. JFrog Cloud Log Streaming is a near-real-time log streaming service that allows customers to stream eligible logs from their JFrog Cloud instance.

Important Notes

  • JFrog Cloud Log Streaming is only available to subscribers with a JFrog Cloud Enterprise+ subscription.

  • Storage cost may be charged by the log vendor for storing and analyzing logs.

  • Logs are streamed from all of the JPD instances.

Supported Log Streaming Destinations

The following logs are supported in the JFrog Cloud Log Streaming:

  • Artifactory Request Logs: Lists all HTTP requests (including gRPC) that were made to the service.

  • Audit Trail Logs (access-audit, access-security-audit): Registers all operations related to users, groups, and permissions to allow auditing and tracking capabilities, which help you enforce security policies in your organization.

  • Artifactory Access Logs: Lists all events related to logins, downloads, browsing, and deployment of artifacts.

The solution will support additional log sources in the future.

The service can stream logs to the following log analytics platforms:

The service is similar to an integration that helps customers seamlessly process and analyze their log data from their JFrog Cloud instance. The JFrog Cloud Log Streamer has built-in support for the latest log analytics features from all major log analytics platforms.

You can only stream logs to one log analytics platform at a time.
