If you're trying to add another JPD platform and encounter the "Connection was successful. Unable to resolve service version" error,

it may be due to the main Artifactory's inability to trust the certificate for the target URL. 
You can check the mc-request-out.log file and see the "unable to find valid certification path to requested target" error message.
