Multi-factor authentication (MFA) strengthens access security for JFrog Support Portal. When enabled, in addition to their user credentials, users will have to authenticate with a one-time password (OTP) generated by one of three authentication applications, per the user's choice:
- Microsoft Authenticator
- Google Authenticator
- FreeOTP
This ensures that if a user's credentials are compromised, multi-factor authentication will help prevent unauthorized access to the JFrog Support Portal.
Enable/Disable Multi-factor Authentication
Use the following steps to enable multi-factor authentication for users in the JFrog Support Portal.
- Navigate to My Profile | By clicking on your picture/name icon in the top right screen
- Click on Enable MFA

- Using one of the mentioned applications, scan the QR code and submit the One-time code

- Clicking Submit will officially set up your MFA! Now, every time you log into the JFrog Support Portal, you will need to submit a one-time code using your chosen app to log in.
- To disable MFA, simply go to the My Profile screen again and click Disable MFA, and then click Yes when you are asked if you are sure
