Ignore Git Repository Violations

Ignore rules helps reduce noise by filtering out false positives or non-actionable violations in Git repository scan results.

1. Under the Platform tab, navigate to Xray > Scans List > Git Repositories.
2. Locate a Commit or Pull Request where a Violation was reported.
3. In the Commit or Pull Request dashboard, under Policy Violations, select View All.
   The Violations window opens.
4. Hover over the violation you wish to ignore in future scans and from the menu, select Ignore Violation.
   The Create Ignore Rule window opens.
5. Configure an ignore rule.
