The following APIs are used to configure and maintain JFrog Smart Archiving policies on the Active Instance.

Smart Archiving Policies APIs are supported in Artifactory version 7.111 and later for cloud only.
Archive Instance Restrictions
To ensure the integrity and intended archival purpose, direct interactions with artifacts and repositories in an archive instance are disabled.
The following actions are not permitted on repositories configured in the archive instance:
Upload: Direct upload of artifacts
Download: Direct download of artifacts
Delete Artifacts: Deleting individual artifacts from a repository
Copy/Move Artifacts: Copying or moving artifacts into, out of, or within a repository
Delete Repository: Deleting the entire repository
