Administrators can force Access to reset a token certificate.

To reset the token certificate:

  1. Create a file named reset_root_keys and place it under the <VAR>/bootstrap/etc/access/keys/ directory.

  2. Reset the Artifactory service.

Note

Resetting the token certificate will effectively revoke all of the tokens that have been generated. If you want to reset your certificates but maintain the token that were created previously, you will need to copy the old root.crt into the trusted directory: /var/etc/access/keys/trusted.
