This topic outlines how to delete a smart archiving policy. If you decide that the smart archiving policy is no longer needed, you can delete it.

Note

You cannot delete a running policy. If you want to delete a running policy, you need to either wait for the run to complete or Stop Running Smart Archiving Policy.

To delete the smart archiving policy, follow these steps: 

  1. As per the User persona, you can work with the contexts as described below:

  2. In the Retention Policies page, click Archive.

  3. From the Policies tab, under Policies, locate the policy you want to delete, click ••• icon and then click DeleteIcon.png Delete.

    The policy is deleted and removed from the Policies list.
