This topic describes how to delete a Cleanup policy via the JFrog UI. If you decide that a cleanup policy is no longer needed, you can delete it according to the instructions below. For information on how to delete a cleanup policy via API, see Delete Cleanup Policy API.
Note
You cannot delete a running policy. If you want to delete a policy that is running, you need to either wait for the run to complete, or stop the run manually as explained in Stop a policy that is running.
To delete a cleanup policy:
At the top of the Artifactory screen, click the Administration tab.
In the navigation panel on the left-hand side of the screen, go to Artifactory Settings>Retention Policies. The Retention Policies screen is displayed.
If your version of Artifactory is configured for cold storage archiving, click the Cleanup tab. If your version of Artifactory is not configured for cold storage archiving, the Cleanup tab is selected by default.
Hover with your mouse on the row of the policy that you want to delete, and at the right end of the row click the 3 dots (...). A pop-up menu appears.
Click Delete from the pop-up menu. The policy is deleted and removed from the list in the Retention Policies screen.
