  • Uninstalling unused applications

Cleanup in JFrog refers to removing stale data based on specific criteria from Artifactory to free up storage and improve system performance. Common tasks include:

  • Package Cleanup Policy

  • Release Bundle V2 Cleanup Policy

Platform and Project Administrators can automate cleanup processes that align with organizational needs by customizing these policies.

Subscription Information

  • Cleanup policies for Packages are supported on the Cloud (7.98.2) and Self-Hosted (7.98.7) platform, with an Enterprise+ license.

  • Cleanup policies for Release Bundles V2 are supported on the Cloud (7.104.2) and Self-Hosted (TBD) platform, with an Enterprise+ license.

Prerequisites

  • Enterprise+ License

  • Administrator Access: Platform or Project Administrator

  • Project Context

    • Platform Admins can manage cleanup policies globally across all projects or for specific projects.

    • Project Admins can manage policies within their project scope, with visibility into global policies affecting their projects.
