Current Known Issues of Cleanup Policies - Packages
Editing Existing Cleanup Policy - Time-based Policy Conditions
Impact
Policies created before 7.111 are affected. Policies created with 7.111 or after are not affected.
Currently, when attempting to edit an existing Cleanup Policy (created before 7.111) to update the Time-based Policy Conditions, you are not permitted to modify weeks/days/months/years for the following settings:
Packages Older Than
Packages Not Downloaded Since
Workaround: Instead of editing the existing Cleanup Policy, you should create a new cleanup policy for the packages and configure it according to your needs as described in Create Cleanup Policy - Package.
Fix Version: The issue will get fixed in the Upcoming Patch Release.
Debian Package
When Debian packages are uploaded directly to the root directory, all packages may be cleaned during cleanup actions.
Impact
Only the Version-based condition is affected by this issue. The Time-based condition remains unaffected.
Workaround: To avoid unintended cleanup, always upload Debian packages to a subdirectory rather than the root.
