In this short video we will go over Xray’s reports feature, along with a demonstration of how to create a security violations report.
Video Transcript:
Hi, my name is Or N from JFrog, and in this short video, I will show you how to create reports using Xray’s report feature.
To create a report, I will first go to the Application tab, then Security and Compliance Reports, and create a report there.
I will need to give a name for my report and choose the type Vulnerabilities and the scope.
As you can see, we can choose Repositories, Builds, and Release Bundles.
In our case, I want to create a report for all of my repositories and the medium and high severity vulnerabilities in them.
So, let’s choose Repositories, select repositories. I can choose each one individually and add them to the included repositories, but in my case, I want to add all of them, so I will use this button and save.
Here, you can see more filters that I can add to my report: impacted artifact, non-ble component, publication scan date, and even mitigation status.
But for our case, as I said, I would like the medium and high severity vulnerabilities.
Let’s generate the report and there we go! We have a vulnerability report created by Xray.
I can also export my report to a PDF, CSV, or JSON file.
Let’s export the report.
That was my video about creating Xray reports.
