ARTIFACTORY: How to Fix Missing "Edit Profile" and Identity Token Generation in Artifactory

Issue:

A user might experience an issue in which the Edit profile option is missing when they click on their username and they cannot generate an Identity Token in Set Me Up as well. This issue only isolates to some users, but consistently.

 


 

Resolution:

Navigate to Platform Configuration –> User Management –> Users ->  <username> -> “Can Update Profile” is checked.

If this user is an external user (SAML SSO, OAuth SSO, etc.), make sure that Platform Configuration → User Authentication -> SAML SSO/OAuth SSO → "Allow Created Users Access To Profile Page" is checked as well.
